For this week’s post I have decided to do a food post about how a bowl of delicious fruits have helped me.
At work I had been feeling hungry and my head had been getting a bit light so with help from my mum I changed my diet from chocolate, crisps and an Apple to a big bowl of different fruits
I haven’t completely stopped eating chocolate and crisps I just don’t have them at lunch as they don’t fill me up and if I do its one or the other. I was only eating them to fill a gap which wasn’t working.
My fruit bowl or fruit box as I mostly call it contains different fruit each day and in the pic below there is Mango, Nectarine (My fave) , blueberries, grape, cantaloupe melon, raspberries and strawberries. I feel like my bowl of fruit has been keeping me fuelled up with the natural sugars and I haven’t been getting as hungry as I had. It tastes so delicious and I love eating my favourites fruit which are nectarines, raspberries and melons all together.
It is super easy to make and only takes me about 15 minutes to wash and cut all the fruit. I will use a whole nectarine and a handful of strawberries , grapes and raspberries and a section of melon. The quantity sometimes depends on the size of the fruit but depending if I feel quite hungry then I might add a few more of one or the other.
I have always loved fruit from a very young age as my parents have always given me lots of different fruits to try and made them into fruit salads and smoothies. My mum and I could happily share a whole melon as we're the only ones in our house that like, more for us.
I would definitely recommend trying your own fruit bowl with a range of your favourite fruits as it is so delicious and very easy to make
I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please let me know in the comments if you have made a yummy fruit bowl.
All my love
