Last Sunday, my family and I took a trip to RHS Wisley to see the butterflies in the glasshouse. I’ve seen the butterflies before, but it was so long ago that it was nice to see them again and to show our new family members: my sister Sammi’s boyfriend Mark and his son Caleb. They have never seen them before.
Wisley holds a lot of memories for me as when I was younger I use to go there with my family a lot and I always loved going there and seeing all the pretty flowers and running around. When I was walking around Wisley I thought of all the previous and happy times going there. I remember going with my Grandad Alan who passed away, he loved flowers and he taught me a lot about them and I miss him so much.
The weather was nice, a bit overcast but it was an enjoyable Sunday walk with a few rain showers but overall it was a good day out.
I got to do one thing I love so much, take photos. I have always loved taking photos and it was nice to pick up the camera again as I don’t have much time to do that these days. It awoke my love of photography again and it felt like I never was away. Whilst taking some of the photos I remember thinking this would be good to use to paint or draw with pastels.
Here’s some of the few hundred pictures I took. Enjoy!!!
